Building A Truck Tool Box

OBSERVE THE JOB. LA TASCA

Like so many photos already mentioned and described on this page, today, also hangs on one wall of my house along with many others that maybe someday or maybe not, "leaving it up to any of the subjects. The
today is one of my favorites, unlike the others discussed in this humble publication, which is shown above, catches us all much more closely, for two basic reasons. Its author is English, and is being shown in it, at first glance, the figure of a child on a group of people-shows at the bottom, which was an important moment in the history of this country-Spain- . To make matters worse, is a relatively recent image that reflects the brand's most important political change in recent decades.
The photo in question was taken one day in 1976, one of the demonstrations for democracy, this snapshot was taken by a leading photographer, a man who was able to portray the English transition as few, or rather, as one, and then begin working with less than eighteen years to Europa Press, went to take pictures on request, for entertainment and the world of cinema, both English and American. His name is Cesar Lucas, and has recently retired after fifty years behind a camera.
But let's get the picture and what it evokes, which in the end, that's the job of the photo and that made it, you know, this office to observe and show others what they see, that job is be assessed, as must also assess the reporters today, put their lives at war war or natural disaster, a catastrophe natural, to become our eyes and show us what happens in the far side of the globe.
I said, the photo is located on a street indeterminate, a city of our Cain undetermined country. Madrid possibly everyone to think what he wants, so here is the least of it would be another picture of a demonstration in pursuit of freedom, democracy or the legalization of certain political parties, but except for one thing different, an element that gives it that touch of sufficiency and that has made him stay in the photographic collections of the twentieth century. The multitude of heads of anonymous people, and on the shoulders of his father, stands a boy of no more of six or seven years, with blond hair and fists.
The photo is an ode to freedom, the idea of change from a somewhat unusual situation in a country supposedly evolved, showing the transformation of this country, and the possibility of investing this in a more hopeful future, where all had rights and obligations, where everyone could choose what they wanted to be and have. It was that time where you put the images of English life between black and white and color. The moment in which young people had the opportunity to take his favorite records of Joan Manuel Serrat and the Chilean Victor Jara without having to risk their freedom, or they could leave to buy under the counter and inquiring gaze of the statue of Cascorro, books with tens of Violeta Parra and the love poems of Pablo Neruda and loneliness. Where you could go to listen to the songs quietly disappeared group La Mandragora, in the antrum, also disappeared, "the same name, where Joaquín Sabina, Javier Krahe and Alberto Pérez, began to make his first public appearances, without fear that Gray will bring forth out of the race there.
But the reality was not as pretty, as it never is reality, "as surely as Cesar Lucas took this snapshot of the smiling boy on the shoulders of his father, it is likely that somewhere in the city a Gunmen, bloody puppets manipulated like other more powerful individuals, cleaned and polished the guns taken out, to be assassinated a year later, some labor lawyers at 55 Atocha Street. Without knowing too, that by then, most likely, a group of lazy olive green uniform, they sought a scapegoat for the perpetrators of the coup of 81 February.
Now, while taking a cut and I write these lines in the central coffee Nuncio in Spain's capital, I imagine this child thirty-four years later. Sitting at home, with his gray hair and their entries in a straight hair, and his little belly emerging above the belt. Spain observing and analyzing the current, tired, jaded, disillusioned with what he sees every day and seeing so far on whether the country he and his father once dreamed of, and left behind, as far as the French May and sand under the cobblestones. Because of a stale political class and illiterate, a political class that in some cases, changed his shirt embroidered blue suit and red tie, but not his thought. And on the other, has changed the ideas of Paul Church, for a vacation in the Bahamas and a high-powered German car. Together, the two groups after each session, to eat at the table, patting on the back and bragging of what they've done to this country, our country.

Crochet Christening Gown Pattern

OF U2. TRAVEL AND DREAMERS

In recent times, the figure of the Irish band U2 has been very present in my life, although it is not my favorite bands. This is what has to spend a long time in Dublin, all-or almost all, "talks music, just being overwhelmed by the Irish group, and especially the figure of their leader, Bono. You can follow his life from the building where the group carried out the recording of their first albums, U2 TOWER to the future, along the banks of the River Liffey. You can also visit the village of Killiney, where Bono has his residence. A people fantastic views over the sea, but few on the house where you could barely see the top of the roof. You can visit your hotel and a pub in your property, and you can even fire the night at the Temple Bar Pub, located on the street of the same name, with a final song of the group.
What I did not expect, after my return to Spain, was coming across to get to Madrid and back to the group, while drinking a beer in a downtown area of Madrid. The street in question is relatively close to the Gran Via, is the wood, the same street during the years 1797 to 1805 he lived the Italian composer and cellist Luigi Boccherini, a street with two slopes, was originally a down, and made the middle of the street, another upward, and between, the Teatro Bishop.
The bar where I was, was not very large, but neither one of those bars that look like a hallway, you can be there quietly and enjoy the reeds. On the outside, caught my attention, the doors are those of the inns or taverns in the lifetime of those who already are barely visible, it dominated the black and red English, both doors and windows as in the sign where he announced the name of the site in question: Casa Julio. The house, founded in 1921, it retains all the charm of the era, it is difficult to imagine taxi drivers and shopkeepers there drinking coffee and cognac along with some churros, first thing in the morning, or rail or vermouth sharing siphon cane, while realized some fried birds at the bar.
Inside, as I said, cozy in size, is divided in two, left as you enter the bar is raised L-shaped, marble and wood. To the right are placed the tables, no more than five or six, marble rectangular plate, secured by iron turning. The chairs and high stools, are made of wood. On the right side, just above the table is a mirror long, rectangular, as you could see the old coffee gatherings, and even today you can find some where else.
The rest of the walls appear completely covered with pictures of all sizes, including slips from time to time a newspaper cutting, also framed. People consumed their drinks, and cakes, which are typical of the bar, six or seven classes, and of good size, "without attention to these images. At the back, near an old black telephone, old photos also appeared in black and white, interspersed with small and round and square form. In the longest wall, there are modern photos, in some you can see the owner, alone or together with friends in other owner is also accompanied by major and famous actors and comedians.
But what caught my attention was the central column, which separates the bar area tables, the aforementioned column, of course, is also covered with pictures. My view, perched on an image of the front of the bar, with its door open and a person brought before her, was none other that the writer and intellectual Luso José Saramago. But most still call my attention, the picture just below the author's Blindness. There were four individuals, spread across the interior of the bar, looking like rockers, I approached for a closer look, and I was quite surprised to see that it was U2, with Bono-leader with his glasses blue-glass, sitting in one of those wooden chairs with their backs against the wall.
Wow, I thought, I never imagined a group of Irish rock, of reeds in this area of Madrid, let alone enjoying a typical dish of Spain and the croquettes, but I was and continue to review the walls of the tasca, I saw a newspaper clipping where the local press picked up the check, you could read headlines like wine or Bono of U2 croquette. Without realizing it, I began to remember my Irish visits to places frequented by the group, suddenly my head was filled with memories, Celtic music, mussels with rye bread, of stout ... And as he left the bar, and walked toward the Calle del Pez, my subconscious made me start to whistle the melody of one of the songs of U2. Sunday Bloody sunday.
