Wilendorf Venus
realized this illustration for a magazine article report on gender in prehistory. The scene is recreated a sculpture of a Paleolithic Venus (such as Wilendorf). The technique is pencil drawing colored in Photoshop.
I guess the clever reader will have already noticed that the statue dates from the Gravettian period, while the harpoon of a row of teeth which is lying around is rather the Magdalenian but the truth is that at that time was a little rushed to the delivery and drew the scene completely memory (note the clever play on words).
